This dress remains one of my all time favorites. I used a Project Runway pattern, large buttons, military style tabs, front bib on my bodice, made my own bias tape and color blocked contrasting coordinates on the back of the dress.
When I made this dress people made fun of it. I proudly displayed it at art shows and I remember seeing people laugh at it. My husband even said it was over done. Perhaps it had to much style for some folks.
Behind the scenes-2010 I had a display of my work at a huge yearly art show here in Dayton called Side Show.\n\nPhotos taken by Seth Stephens and Sarah Wonderling is modeling.
