Over the years I have done a few wedding dresses. It was never my plan to want to make dresses that would just be worn once. It’s hard work to make a dress although when someone comes to me and is serous about me making their dress for one of their most special days, I take it into consideration.
I love vintage inspired, movie replicas, fun or non traditional dress styles. These customers are also usually more fun to work with.
In China red is the choice of color for weddings, I have done a few.
When gay marriage had become legal I made wedding clothes for Tina and Andi!
Ria was great to work with, she wanted a Lord of the Rings feel to her gown.
The first thing I like to do is ask them,”Why Handmade?” If they think it cost less, have issues with their body size or shape, on a major weight loss plan or think I can do it overnight it is a big.sorry.no. Last halloween I made an orange and black plus size gown for Nicole, my Facebook friend.
Dress for Melissa another great friend!
Ties for men and boys.
Maternity dress for the famous artist Jessica Hooker Roller.
Dress for me……
Dress for my friend meg.
Some times I never get a good picture of the dress. This was my first wedding dress and I never got a picture. It was amazing!
I also liked to practice dress before I obligated myself for the job.
