The Refashioned Sweatshirt
November 10 @ 6:00 pm - 8:30 pm
In this hands on class we will transform a thrifted, vintage, or well loved sweatshirt into a one of a kind wearable piece. Using fabric scraps and assorted prints, you will design and stitch an artsy collage to apply to the front of your sweatshirt. This is a great way to use meaningful textiles like family clothing, baby clothes, concert t-shirts or favorite fabrics and turn them into something you can wear.
You must know how to use, thread, and operate a sewing machine. Due to the nature of designing taking time, unfinished projects will have to be finished at home.
Tuesday, November 10th 6pm- 8:30pm.
