This work is personal to me.

Watching my mom go through three years of ovarian cancer made me think differently about the things we keep and the memories attached to them.

Clothing can carry so much of a person’s story. Sometimes it’s difficult to know what to do with those things after someone dies. You may not want to wear them, but you certainly aren’t ready to part with them.

That’s one reason I started making Memory Pillows.

I get to use the sewing skills I’ve spent decades developing to help other people preserve something meaningful. Every piece of clothing has a story, and I consider it a privilege to be trusted with it.

Thank you to everyone who has allowed me to be part of their family’s memories.
