Sewing 101:Japanese Knot Tying Bag, Rosewood Art Kettering
May 15, 2017 @ 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm
(this class will be listed in late winter)
Reversible Japanese knot Tying Bag Class
Ages 10 and up
Skills required, must simply know how to thread a machine and sew a seam allowance, that is it, it’s really easy!
Supplies needed 1/2 yard of cotton fabric and 1/2 yard of cotton contrast fabric (a matching fabric for the inside), thread and a small sewing kit if you have one.
About the bag,
The Japanese knot tie bag is a great spin off to the traditional tote we all love. The engineering in the construction is such a new simple way to put the cool bag together that it may blow your mind a bit. Another wonderful thing about making this bag as it it is eco friendly because it has very little waste.
I will supply directions and pattern.
